Seven Months and Not Stopping!

My Dearest Evan,

You are seven months old and doing so well. You're sitting even better than before and you've started eating oat cereal and some veggies (sweet potatoes, carrots, and green beans),.....and prunes - to help you learn to digest food other than breastmilk! And it's worked....you pooped four times today thanks to those prunes! Even lost an outfit in the mix haha.

You moan a lot when you nurse and grunt when you're trying to poop. You also flail your arms, which is your tale-tell sign that you're working on a poop. Just last weekend you started sitting up from laying down and you haven't stopped doing it since then. You roll all over the place and then sit yourself up. You still occasionally fall backwards but you're good for the most part. You also get onto all fours and rock back and forth. You're so so close to crawling but not there yet.

And you've started growing teeth! Your sister had teeth very early on so we were surprised yours took so long to come in but found out that you're actually normal (haha, your sister is ab-normal - I'm sure you'll get a kick out of that). You have your two bottom front teeth partially in right now.

Oh and your laugh.....oh your laugh. If I could name a favorite sound from you, it would be your laugh. It's so great to hear and probably your sister is the one who can get you to laugh the most. She loves entertaining you and you LOVE watching her.

You're not a fan of your car seat - you hate it when we buckle you in but you love the double stroller we have for you and sister to ride together (she sits behind you). You've gotten more used to the pool - I can tell when you're relaxed about it and when you're tense - luckily you've gotten more and more used to it the more we go.

You never lost your hair like most babies do. Your hair pretty much stayed put since you were born except for one bald spot on the back where your head laid when you were too young to lift it. That part is filling in now because you enjoy sleeping on your side or stomach.

You're honestly the easiest baby. You are so easy going and I just nurse you once at 6:00 and then again at 7:00 and it doesn't matter if you're already sleeping or if you're still awake, I just lay you in your crib and you roll to your side with your thumb in your mouth and you fall asleep. You also nap 2-3 times a day. Right now you're waking up between 4:00 and 5:30 in the morning. We don't mind that much because we're morning people but I do go back to sleep when dad wakes up on the weekends :)

Your personality is also starting to show a little more. You seem to enjoy slyly taking things from your sister - we think you're likely to become the quiet instigator of the family. Right now it's entertaining for dad and me but I know your sister is not as big of a fan.

Here's your life in pictures right now.....

How you've been growing over the past few months!

Ok so I can't get this one to turn but you get the idea
