Winding Down the Year!

My Dearest Evan,

Well, in the past couple of months, you've accomplished quite a bit! You've dressed up as a dinosaur for Halloween, traveled to Roswell for Thanksgiving, gone all the way to the NORTH POLE to visit Santa, AND you turned TWO! What?!?! How did that happen?

You're the best cuddler and you've gotten even more into it by wanting to share covers with whoever is next to you. You're also so good at putting things in the trash that you over-do it. We find plates, sippy cups, forks, you name it in the trash thanks to you! You're also still into screaming over anything and everything. We're working on it but it's loud and frustrating for everyone involved.

You love watching the latest version of Aladdin and you love listening to the sound track - you also sing and dance to the songs! At daycare, your favorite is arts and craft time. You jump up and down and say "yay" and whenever anyone wished you a happy birthday, you got all excited and said "yay" too! It's so darn cute watching you do it! :)

Here's your life in pictures right now....

You spend a lot of your time following your big sister around to play with her.

Oh man, was this the perfect shot! You're saying "cheeeeeeese"

Visiting the farm to get pumpkins

Train ride at the farm!

Tractor ride to get pumpkins!

Imitating your sister! Sometimes she gets annoyed but I try to say it's you flattering her!

At sister's school's Halloween party. This is how you act when you're unfamiliar with a situation. Instead of following Avery around in the midst of everything, you chose to sit with your dad (who was chilling because of a bum foot).

Soccer spectator!

Cuddle bug!

There's my little dino!

Cheese at the farm!

You've started wanting me in photos I take of you - haha, wonder how long that will last!

Painting - one of your favorites!

Front seat - you love sitting up there to wait for sister to get out of school!

Coffee date with dad!

Cool kid with your arm sleeve!

Having fun at Uptown Jungle in Phoenix!

Ugh, you put hand soap in your hair!

Early pick up at daycare means getting to go back to work with Dad for a few hours!

Visiting with cousins for Thanksgiving.

What?! A yoda santa?!?! Must have!

Cousin love!

You insisted on me being in the picture with you - so cute with those cheeks!

You've gotten really good at sitting for your haircut. This is your first time without anyone holding you and you were brushing the hairs off the elephant as your distraction from what was happening to you.

Fresh cuts!

Trying on helmets with Dad! I think it's on backwards haha

We like to visit the turtles at Home Depot.

Always on the sidelines, my friend...not much longer until you're out there!

You're face! It's like, "nothing to see here"

Putting up your felt Christmas tree!

Block tower with sister!

Santa came to visit again, just like last year!

Future K-Stater!

Watching Elf in downtown Flagstaff while we wait for our turn to go through the Portal!

Here we go!

Cheeese! Happy little guy after seeing Santa!

On the way back from the North Pole, we had to stop and see the T-Rex Exhibit at the Science Center for your birthday!

You were so excited!

There she is!

This is typically what happens when it's mommy/kid day!

Holiday cookies at daycare with Bella!

You got a toolbelt!

Party animal!

You must've been good this year!

Birthday fun!

You are in love with your slippers!

And you love your picnic table too!

Cuddle buddies in mommy and daddy's bed!
Evan, you're the cutest and best when you're happy and playful. We honestly can't get enough of your fun love. You also have this temper that comes out of nowhere and surprises us all. I'm sorry to say I think you got that from me. I love you and can't wait to see what TWO has in store for you.

All My Heart,
Mom

New Year, New Adventures!

My Dearest Evan, I know it's been a while - I thought about blogging in January and then all of a sudden it was the end of March! You...
