End of Second Grade!

 My Dearest Evan,

Today we head on a great adventure to Europe! We're going to Italy and Greece! So I wanted to try to sneak in a message to you before we leave.

You finished second grade this spring, which included a reading of your writing for the year, the class publishing a book together, and a spring performance! Outside of school, you got to practice and play a tournament with the Yetis, which was a fantastic experience for you - playing on a full sheet of ice with some great teammates. It also gave you an opportunity to experience more hockey coaching outside of Tucson, which is quite different.

We also took a quick trip to Kansas City for your Uncle Adam's wedding and you've been in a hockey summer camp with Coach Adam where you do some days in Tucson and some days on ice in Phoenix!

You like to pretend you're a power ranger while watching power rangers, you like watching an outdoorsman who does survival videos on YouTube, and you'll do pretty much anything that keeps you active (roller blading, basketball, table pickleball). You know how cute I think you are and you try to use it to get out of trouble. You're a good kid.

Here's you're life in pictures right now...

All My Love.
